چکیده

Bridging the gap between an abstract definition of pseudo-differential operators, such as (−1) for − 1 2 < γ < 1 2 , and a concrete way to represent them has proved difficult; deriving stable numerical schemes for such operators is not an easy task either. Thus, the framework of diffusive representations, as already developed for causal fractional integrals and derivatives, is being applied to fractional Laplacian: it can be seen as an extension of the Wiener–Hopf factorization and splitting techniques to irrational transfer functions. Existence solutions for new p-Laplacian fractional boundary value problem with impulsive effects

Fractional differential equations have been of great interest recently. This is because of both the intensive development of the theory of fractional calculus itself and the applications of such constructions in various scientific fields such as physics, mechanics, chemistry, engineering, etc. Differential equations with impulsive effects arising from the real world describe the dyn...

Analysis of Plane Waves in Anisotropic Magneto-Piezothermoelastic Diffusive Body with Fractional Order Derivative

In this paper the propagation of harmonic plane waves in a homogeneous anisotropic magneto-piezothermoelastic diffusive body with fractional order derivative is studied. The governing equations for a homogeneous transversely isotropic body in the context of the theory of thermoelasticity with diffusion given by Sherief et al. [1] are considered as a special case. It is found that three types of...

Diffusive systems coupled to an oscillator: a Hamiltonian formulation

The aim of this paper is to study a conservative wave equation coupled to a diffusion equation : this coupled system naturally arises in musical acoustics when viscous and thermal effects at the wall of the duct of a wind instrument are taken into account. The resulting equation, known as Webster-Lokshin model, has variable coefficients in space, and a fractional derivative in time. The port-Ha...

Numerical Solution of Fractional Control System by Haar-wavelet Operational Matrix ‎Method

In recent years, there has been greater attempt to find numerical solutions of differential equations using wavelet's methods. The following method is based on vector forms of Haar-wavelet functions. In this paper, we will introduce one dimensional Haar-wavelet functions and the Haar-wavelet operational matrices of the fractional order integration. Also the Haar-wavelet operational matrices of ...

A fractional Burgers equation arising in nonlinear acoustics: theory and numerics

The study of a fractional Burgers equation arising in nonlinear acoustics is presented. The motivation comes from an elementary model of shock waves in brass wind instruments, that proves useful in musical acoustics. Such a model results from the coupling of a conservative nonlinear system with a dissipative term; here the dissipation is represented by a fractional derivative in time, for which...
